Power/Production Safeguards
KM² Solutions’ facility is designed and proven as a high-availability facility with N+1 redundancy in most areas with the most critical areas protected by N² redundancy. Redundancy begins at the perimeter with dual power grid access supplying core power to the facility. Data connectivity is provided by diverse, redundant, fiber connectivity. The entire facility is protected by an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) system that provides continuous protection against spurious or, on rare occasions, a sustained electricity power service interruption.
On-site continuous power generator
- 250 kilo-watt (KW) diesel generator
- Auto-start and assume the entire facility load
- Sufficient fuel to operate unattended for 24 hours
- Provides 15 times the duration required
- Tier-1 fueling contracts are in place for priority refueling in an extreme outage
- When possible the equipment is implemented in a teamed or clustered configuration in order to facilitate load sharing and balancing while providing redundancy
