The COVID-19 pandemic has uprooted lives across the globe. However, the rollout of SARS-CoV-2 vaccines has dramatically improved quality of life, where available, by reducing the spread of the virus and the risk of severe illness or death. As a result, many cities are now reopening without restrictions.
The health and safety of our employees and their families has been our highest priority throughout the pandemic. We initiated strict on-site safety measures and wellness screening protocols that have virtually eliminated transmission within our offices. Today we are going a step further.
KM2 Solutions, in partnership with local healthcare authorities, has acquired vaccines for our employees in the Dominican Republic, and Honduras, where the rollout of the vaccines has been slow. KM2 will be providing nurses on-site to administer doses to employees, and where applicable, their families and friends at no cost and on a voluntary basis.
To date, we have administered 1650+ doses of the vaccine. We will continue to support this initiative until all willing participants have been fully vaccinated or as long as supplies remain available in these locations.
Vaccinations are not a requirement for employment at KM2. We understand that this is a health choice that each individual needs to make for themselves. However, we strongly support the vaccination efforts and have witnessed firsthand the positive implications of a vaccinated population on returning to a healthy, normal life.
